F2 EXPLAINED
The F1 rooster Louie, is the result of the cross of a BCM rooster and Ameraucana Hen.
Louie F1 is then bred back to blue egg laying hens. Their offspring is F2.
The objective of the breeding program is an intentional breeding of dominate blue slate feather color genes ( from Louie) and an uncommon to rare selection of colored eggs set upon birds with pea combs, cheeks, muffs, ear feathers, and a recessive rumpless gene which I do hope to bring forward more.
F2 hens will produce eggs in shades of olive green, slates and blues, pinks, and the occasional brown.
