Acer palmatum 'Shirazz' is a beauty. A small tree with variegated leaves of pink, red, green and creamy-white. Spring colour is bright pink and purple with some variegation. Fall colours are crimson to scarlet.
'Shirazz' will mature at about 10' tall, growing upright initially, but eventually having arching branches. This variety is one of the few variegated types that does well in full sun. Trees kept in full sun will be mostly red and pink while those receiving some shade will have some green tones.
